The forecast for the five days long Iceland Airwaves music festival is mild and it looks like the gods of weather will only let a small amount of rain on us, considering the season. In 2014 we had to deal with a raging snow blizzard during Airwaves. According The Icelandic Met Office (IM0) it will mostly be cloudy but brisk, so dress warmly.
The huge music event kicks-off Wednesday 2 November, on a cloudy but mild day. Some outbreaks of rain are expected in the evening.

Friday: Even better weather than the day before. Calm and clear skies but the temperature will drop below 0 degrees C (32 F).
Saturday: The day will be less brigh than the previous day with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers in the evening. Temperature 2 degrees C (36 F).
Sunday: Expect a damp day with some rain but relatively calm winds at 6 m/s (12 mph/22 km/h). Temperature 6 degrees C (43 F).
