Music festival Iceland Airwaves has just announced the first artists and bands that will perform at this year’s festival. This initial list is introduced in a slightly unorthodox way or by a video message from local musician DJ geimskip & flugvél (DJ Spaceship & Airplane). Retro Stefson’s singer Unnsteinn Manuel directs the video, see below.
Among foreign acts are Mourn, Batida, Hinds, Ariel Pink and East India Youth, and the local acts include GusGus, Júníus Meyvant, Tonik Ensemble and Fufanu.
