Husband and wife Þórarinn Jónsson and Lisa Boije told Morgunblaðið newspaper that they are excited about the move and thrilled about the store’s new location as the old harbour area has evolved into a fantastic conglomeration of quirky restaurants, speciality shops, museums, as well as fishing boats and old baiting huts.
“The area is full of food. Grandagarður has become Reykjavík’s gourmet street,” Þórarinn said happily.
The store is located in Grandagarður 29 in Reykjavík.
