Footballer Birkir Bjarnason has become somewhat of an internet sensation for his good looks and long blond locks.
Birkir, who plays for FC Basel in Swiss, has been described as “football’s hottest Viking” by the Daily Mail, which also likens the 28-year-old midfielder to a young Brad Pitt.
Clothing retailer ASOS.com even tweeted the player, offering him a modelling job after the championship, to which Birkir replied: “Hahaha. Sign me up.”
