Roads all over the country are exceptionally icy today. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and drive with caution when travelling between regions.
According to the Road and Coastal Administration, there are icy patches on most roads in the south. Krýsuvíkurvegur and Kjósaskarð are particularly icy.
Ice is reported on Holtavörðuheiði, Brattabrekka and Fróðárheiði, west Iceland.
Motorists can expect very slick and hazardous roads in the Westfjords, especially Þröskuldar, Súgandafjörður, Ísafjarðardjúp, and Hrútafjörður roads. Snow drift is reported on Steingrímsfjarðarheiði, Miklidalur, and Kleifarheiði roads.
Extremely icy road conditions are in north Iceland as well.
