The annual Christmas market in Ingólfstorg square kicked off on December 1st. This year the market takes the shape and form of a small, delightful Christmas village, complete with log-houses and market-tents.
Here you’ll be able to buy amazing smoked leg of lamb from farmer Elín from Húsavík, hand-made designs, Christmas trees, traditional bjúga, home-made sweets, roasted almonds and carved whale teeth from the Westman Islands. If all that won’t get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will!
