A day-old kitten was dropped off at the Animal Clinic in Grafarholt, Reykjavík, on Tuesday without a mother. Thankfully a tender-hearted Cocker Spaniel, who had just given birth to a pup of her own, decided to adopt the tiny kitten.

The small puss was given the name Snati, which is a classic, Icelandic dog name, and is settling in well with his foster family. Snati seems to have formed a very close bond with his new mother and adopted brother.
