The number of international destinations at Keflavík Airport this summer is up to nearly ninety. A total of 24 airlines will offer services at Keflavík, providing direct flights to 27 destinations in North America and 57 destinations in Europe.
Several new destinations
Among the new destinations added this year are flights to Cork, Dresden, Katowice, Nuremberg and Triest in Europe and Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa and Miami in the North America. Direct flights to Prague will also be resumed. Only two destinations will be eliminated as flights between Keflavík and Nice in France and Rome in Italy will be discontinued.
The local news site Túristi reports that three airlines will be offering flights to Keflavík for the first time this summer. Air Canada is adding flights to Toronto and Montreal, Finnair which will offer flights to Helsinki and Czech Airlines which will fly between Keflavík and Prague.
