Danish microbrewery To Øl has introduced a new pilsner, brewed specially for KEX Hostel’s restaurant, Sæmundur í sparifötunum. The beer was appropriately named KEX Pilsner and is brewed in accordance to an old German tradition.
The restaurant’s director, Ólafur Ágústsson, had asked To Øl to create a beer for KEX; A beer with low alcohol content but a high drinkability level. A request the brewery gladly agreed to.
A year later, To Øl presented KEX Pilsner, a smooth lager with 5 % alcohol content and a complicated pallet with a hint of fruit and oak.
Head down to KEX Hostel and give the beer a try.
