Icelandic rapper Emmsjé Gauti has just dropped a brand new song and a video that delivers some stunning and quite unusual views of Iceland’s capital Reykjavík.
The song is aptly named Reykjavík and is from Gauti's new album Vagg & velta. Even if rap is not your thing you can contemplate the capital’s skyline and many great vantage points in the video, where Gauti and his pal dance on the rooftops in Reykjavík.
Gauti is one of Iceland’s biggest hip hop act and famous for his highly charged live performance which often includes stage-diving and crowd-surfing. The guy certainly knows how to put on a show.
Accompanying Gauti in the video is the fantastically curly haired Keli, the drummer from rock band Agent Fresco, which is Gauti's regular support band when performing live. Other members of the band join them along with rap duo Úlfur Úlfur in a great and humorous cameo in the video doing a classical boy band dance routine.
Emmsjé Gauti, Agent Fresco and Úlfur Úlfur will all perform at The Iceland Airwaves this year.
