Czech Airlines, the Czech Republic’s largest carrier, will launch direct flights between Prague and Keflavík International Airport next summer, reports Icelandic travel website Túristi. Prague has been an increasingly popular destination among Icelanders for a number of years, but this is the first time scheduled flights are available between Iceland and Prague.
The carrier offers flights on Mondays and Fridays between 16th of June and mid-September.
A record number of flights went through Keflavík Airport this summer, increasing by 17 percent between years. Easy Jet became the largest carrier in Iceland, second only to local carrier Icelandair.
