The Icelandic Crossfit championship Reebok Throwdown 2015 took place in the Reykjavík suburb of Kópavogur this weekend. Reigning world champion Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir celebrated victory with 895 points. Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson brought home gold on the men’s side with 818 points.
Katrín Tanja says the competition this year was tough, but was satisfied with the results. “I’m going to go out for sushi this evening (Sunday), rest up tomorrow and then continue training,” she told Vísir’s reporter after her win.
