Cool new ad from Vans offers a super-cut of a ultimate Iceland vacation 8502

10. mar 2018 13:55

The clothing company Vans has just released a new online ad shot in Iceland. The video, which was released four days ago was shot in Reykjavík and South Iceland this past summer. It features three skateboarders and surfers on what can only be described as the coolest ultimate Iceland adventure ever.

We get glimpses of Reykjavík nightlife, the contless murals and beautiful street art of the city, a visit to the Museum of Punk in downtown Reykjavík, the gallery of Jón Sæmundur (Nonni Dead) on Laugavegurinn, as well as a visit to Lucky Records where Bob Cluness tells the skaters about the Icelandic music scene. They stop by at a tattoo parlor, an inside skate park as well as Ingólfstorg square downtown where local skaters practice their tricks.

From Reykjavík the thre then drive along the South Coast, and finish off with a dip in the freezing waters of the North Atlantic, surfing the monster waves of Icelandic waters.

We at Iceland Insider are willing to say that, yes: If you had the proper editing and surfing skills, this is exactly what the supercut of the coolest-Iceland-adventure-ever would look like!
