It will be a cold but somewhat sunny weekend, according to IMO’s forecast.

Friday will be breezy in the south and southeast, but calm in other parts of the country. Some snowfall is expected in the north, east and southeast during the day. Clear skies in the Westfjords and the west. Temperatures will range between -1 to -10 degrees Celsius (30-14 Fahrenheit).

Saturday will be sunny through the morning but becoming cloudy in the south and west by evening. Some snowfall is expected in the southeast during the day.  Temperatures will range between -2 and -14 degrees Celsius (28-7 Fahrenheit).

Sunday is a cloudy day in most parts of the country, although the northeast will experience brighter intervals. Snow fall in the south, west and northwest. Slightly warmer temperatures, ranging between 0 to -8 degrees Celsius (32-18 Fahrenheit).
