Sabine Leskopf received an extremely late Christmas card which mistakenly had been sent to Mongolia instead of Reykjavík, Iceland.
The card was from Sabine’s friend who was living in China. According to the National Broadcasting Service, Sabine is mystified as to why the card was originally sent to Mongolia. It’s not uncommon for letters addressed to Icelandic residents to wind up in Ireland or Israel, but the country is rarely confused with Mongolia.
