The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service reports that the second largest group of foreign visitors who were injured in car accidents in 2015, were Americans. A total of 20 American travellers were injured in car accidents, 19 Polish visitors, 15 Germans and 10 British visitors. The high number of Chinese visitors who were injured in road accidents is striking when we consider the fact that only 47,000 Chinese visitors came to Iceland, compared to nearly 480,000 Americans and British visitors.
