The great Kex Hostel will celebrate all things American with a three-day festival starting 2 July. The inspiration is of course USA's Independence Day, July 4th.
Kex calls its American culture festival, KEX Köntrí (country). It kicks off at 6pm on Thursday and for the next three days guests can enjoy American food (the Freedom Burger, spare ribs, chicken wings and more), beverages and an extensive program of live music by some of Iceland's finest artists. The running theme is folk, country and blues music.
