The Welsh bass-baritone opera and concert singer, Bryn Terfel, had to walk off the stage at Harpa Concert Hall on Saturday night after losing his voice after only five songs.
Terfel had spent about twenty-minutes on stage when he suddenly lost his voice and had to leave the stage. As reported by visir.is, he announced he would not be finishing the concert, but he would return for a do-over as early as possible. Reykjavik Arts Festival staff has announced that Terfel will be back at Harpa on July 10th. All tickets from Saturday night will be valid for the concert in July.
