British Airways has announced it will resume flights from London Heathrow to Keflavík International Airport.
The airline will start flying three times per week (on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) from Heathrow to Iceland from October 25, 2015. BA offered scheduled flights between Gatwick and Keflavík from 2006 until 2008, according to travel site Turisti.is.

The number of UK visitors in January and February increased by 30% year on year and BA’s decision to resume scheduled flights to Iceland might up that number even further.
