La Monnaie de Munt is one of Belgium’s leading Opera houses as reported by visir.is and the Medúlla Opera is on the schedule for the 2014-2015 theatre year. Singers of all ages will be joining together to interpret the album, but nearly no instruments were used in the making of the album, which is predominantly a capella.
Björk herself has said that the album is her most political work over the course of her career, but she wanted to fight the racism and patriotism that blossomed post 9/11.
