The Death Grips, an experimental hip hop group from Sacramento, California, has released a surprise new double album that includes contributions from Icelandic singer, Björk.
Björk issued a statement concerning the new project, “I am proud to announce my vocals landed on the new Death Grips album! I adore Death Grips and I am thrilled to be their ‘found object’.”
The connection between the two unique styles of the Death Grips and Björk began last year when the hip hop group remixed several Björk tracts as part of a Biophilia 12-inch.
