Björk has announced she will be cancelling several tour dates in the fall and early winter. All this year‘s tour dates after August 15 have been cancelled. Among the performances Björk has cancelled is her Iceland Airwaves appearance in November.
The organizers of Iceland Airwaves told The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service that those who have bought tickets for Björk‘s concert will be refunded.
In an statement Björk‘s spokesman explained that [d]ue to a scheduling conflict beyond our control, Björk is not going to be able to play the summer and autumn tour as planned, adding that Björk had been really been looking forward to the concerts and we will work on rescheduling the cancelled dates as soon as possible.
