Sports and tasty food
“Visit Húsið in the town of Ísafjörður, it’s not only a great café and restaurant but also a very happening bar after hours. There is live music every weekend and they also broadcast all major sporting events live on TV.”

Magical Strandir
The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft is highly recommended to anyone visiting the town of Hólmavík. The quirky exhibition shows tidbits from Icelandic folklore and explains the witch-hunt which took place in Iceland in the late 17th century. An excellent, little seafood restaurant is also run in the locale which is well worth a try.
The museums owner, Sigurður Atlason, is full of knowledge about local folklore and the area and will gladly give tourists interesting information on what to see and do in the region.
