Businessman Björgólfur Thor Björgólfsson and his wife Kristín Ólafsdóttir are hosting the Beckham family during their stay in Iceland. Björgólfur and Kristín booked a private concert for the Beckhams inside Þríhnúkagígur – a massive volcanic crater located near the Bláfjöll mountain range in South Iceland.
Artists Sigríður Thorlacius and Guðmundur Óskar Guðmundsson, who are both members of the band Hjaltalín, performed for the party. Guðmundur Óskar is a great fan of David Beckham’s, so much so, he had trouble concentrating during the performance.
According to the National Broadcasting Service, the guests enjoyed the concert immensely and after, David happily posed for a photograph with Guðmundur.
