Súðarvíkurhlíð is closed to traffic due to an avalanche hazard. Many roads in North Iceland are currently impassable, including the road across Öxnadalsheiði. Poor road conditions are in many places in East Iceland.
Icy patches and snow are expected on roads in many parts of South Iceland. Snow and snow drift is reported on the roads across Brattabrekka, Holtavörðuheiði, Svínadalur and Fróðárheiði, West Iceland.

Súðarvíkurhlíð and Flateyrarvegur roads in the Westfjords are currently closed to traffic due to an avalanche hazard. Conditions are to be revalued at around noon today, Friday. Steingrímsfjarðarheiði is impassable while conditions on other roads in the region are poor due to snowdrift and ice.
Siglufjarðarvegur road is also impassable due to weather, with considerable avalanche risk. Heavy snow is reported in Langidalur valley, Vatnsskarð and on the road between Sauðárkrókur and Fljót.
