ATP Iceland, which was supposed to take place at the old US Army base in Ásbrú, Reykjanes peninsula, 1-3 July, has been cancelled. Festival organisers announced their decision on Facebook an hour ago.

“It is with deep sadness we are announcing that ATP Festivals and live promotions are closing down. After months of speculation, our funding for Iceland has been pulled and we are no longer able to continue so will be closing down the entire live side of ATP festivals and live promotions with immediate effect and going into administration.”

This was to be ATP’s fourth year and the line-up included such acts as John Carpenter, Goblin, Omar Souleyman, and Valdimar.

Further information on festival ticket refunds will be posted over the next week.
