13. mar 2023 20:00

The work has been given the name Steinkugel. It's an installation of a self-generative video that is projected onto a 6.5 meter (21 feet) high concrete construction. The computer animated image sourcec, programmed to infinitely generate images and patterns, gives the work an ever-changing appearance. The projection can be viewed daily, but only after dark.

Steinkugel (2014) was commissioned by The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning and the Robert Koch Institute after Egill's proposal won first prize in the 2013 closed competition, Art in Public Space.

Egill will be present by his work between 10pm and midnight (local time) on May 28th, 29th, and 30th.
