The art festival List í ljósi in Seyðisfjörður, east Iceland, kicks off today. Over 40 art pieces, by 30 artists, will be lit up today – adding a bit of light and warmth to the small fishing village during the dark winter days.

The Eastern Iceland town will light up with curated artworks by international and local artists, ranging from installations, projections and performances to large-scale immersive experiences.

“The festival will completely transform the town,” organiser Sesselja Jónasardóttir told the National Broadcasting Service.
