According to Antonio Banderas’ Twitter feed, the Spanish actor is currently in Iceland, and is heading to the beach. Earlier today Banderas published two aerial photographs of Iceland, both apparently taken above the Reykjanes peninsula, on Twitter, along with a photograph of himself and his fiancé taken inside a private jet. Banderas sent his greetings from Iceland, claiming the beautiful weather today made this a “perfect day to grab the towel and go the beach.”
Although we at Iceland Insider agree that the weather is perfect we can think of at least one thing that makes more sense than go to the beach: Head to the mountains to ski! The Bláfjöll ski-area just east of Reykjavík will remain open until 9 PM.
