Aníta Margrét Aradóttir, the Icelandic rider who is currently involved in the Mongol Derby horse race in Mongolia, is hanging tough as the riders reached the end of the sixth day of competition.

Aníta is currently in the riding group that makes up 13th – 18th place and has now completed two of the three parts of the most tumultuous horse race in the world.

There have already been 10 riders drop out of the race due to illness or injury, so battling through and completing the race would be a huge accomplishment for Aníta.
