Around 144.500 foreign tourists visited Iceland in July this year according to new numbers from the Icelandic Tourist Board, an increase of 17 per cent between years.
Most tourists come from the United States of America (15.9 %) while German tourists follow closely in their steps (12.5 %). British tourists take third place (8.7 %), followed by the French (7.4 %) and the Scandinavians.
