Akureyri town's annual Automobile Festival (BíladagarI is going full throttle this weekend. Car enthusiasts from all over Iceland are in the Eyjaförður fjord town, North Iceland, showing off their cars, admiring others and doing various competitions and stunts.
Tonight is the highlight of the weekend, when an attempt will be made to beat the 69-car burnout world record. Last year 65-cars showed up for the event, only five cars short of a new world record.
