Photographer Óli Haukur Mýrdal captured this stunning footage of Reykjavík in the twilight from a helicopter on the last day of October. It's a rare angle of the capital, showing the outlines of the city in quite a dramatic fashion.

You can catch a glimpse of well-known Reykjavík landmarks in the video, the Pearl on top of Öskjuhlíð hill next to the airport, Hallgrímskirkja church, Yoko Ono's fantastic light sculpture Imaging Peace, which is located on Viðey island, and Harpa Music and Conference Hall, which stands on Reykjavík's north coastline.
