Icelandic actor Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson has landed a small role on the wildly popular HBO series Game of Thrones, thereby joining Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays the role of The Mountain, as part of the cast.
According to newsagent Vísir, Jóhannes Haukur is set to star in two episodes in series seven. The actor declined to comment further on the role when Vísir contacted him.
Jóhannes last starred as Thomas in the television series A.D. The Bible Continues.
