A local photography legend Ragnar Axelsson, also known as RAX, took the new Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) for an 80-hour ride around Iceland this spring. The iconic German camera manufacturer made this great short film about his trip and also got RAX to share his thoughts on the new camera.
RAX was born in 1958 and has been a photographer for Morgunblaðið, Iceland’s second most popular newspaper, since 1976. He has also shot numerous freelance projects for magazines and participated in exhibitions all over the world.
