Rangárþing eystra district in South Iceland is preparing a new development plan for the area west of Seljalandsfoss waterfall, reports Morgunblaðið. The plan was developed in cooperation with local landowners and will make the area more accessible to guests while protecting the more fragile parts of the area.
The new plan will allow for the creation of new facilities and a car park located west of the current Þórsmerkurvegur road, which will be moved further west.
