Parts of downtown Reykjavík will be closed to traffic on Saturday, due to Menningarnótt culture event that will take place around the city. Residents are advised to make preliminary arrangements.

According to the National Broadcasting Service, the closures are part of safety precautions taken by city officials. Bus services to and from the city centre will not be affected.
