Visitors sailing on the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in South Iceland witnessed the moment went a large iceberg floating in the lagoon tipped over causing quite a splash and one of them managed to capture a video of the whole spectacle.
Up to 90% of an iceberg is hidden underwater. Although those floating mountains of ice flip now and again it's rare to get to witness it from such a short distance. You would not like it to happen when a boat is to close, which is exactly the reason for seasoned captains being in charge when visitors are taken on a sail on the lagoon.

The name literally means glacial river lagoon—a transparent name indeed. The lake covers about 22 km2 (8.5 sq mi), from the base of Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull, to the edge of Iceland’s southeast coast. Only a sliver of solid ground separates it from the North Atlantic ocean.
Traveling highway 1 between the town of Höfn town and Skaftafell national park, you can see the lagoon from the road. But of course you should stop for a few moments and enjoy it up close. From spring to late autumn you can take a boat trip on the lagoon with seasoned tour operators.
