A fairy-tale house in the village of Blönduós, North Iceland, could be yours. The house belongs to a renowned Icelandic woodcarver – as the gorgeous images from inside the house bear witness.

The house, named Brimslóð, is the town’s oldest building having been built in 1882. However, it had to be rebuilt in 1999 after having been destroyed in a fire.

The lovely home is 216 square metres (2325 square ft) in size and is perched on a hilltop for gorgeous views over the town and the North Atlantic Ocean.

It has six rooms and two bathrooms and a sizable garden.

The price is 25 million krónur (163.015 euros/ 206.748 US dollars).
