Russell John Stevens, a Canadian traveller visiting Iceland, left the police station in the town of Keflavík with a big smile on his face thanks to the honesty of an unnamed local. Russell had come to the police station after he discovered he had lost his wallet, hoping that it had turned up.
Fortunately the wallet had been found by an upstanding and honest citizen who had returned it to the police station with all its contents. In addition to all his credit cards the wallet contained a large sum of cash. The Police in Suðurnes posted a photo of the fortunate traveller along with his story on Facebook:
Now he can finally go out and spend that cash, as he put it. This is how we like to end the week 🙂
