A Blood Moon will be visible in Iceland on Monday 3518

13. mar 2023 20:22

A total lunar eclipse of a Supermoon will be visible in Iceland after midnight on the 28th of September.

A total lunar eclipse is often called a blood moon, as the moon turns red. The eclipse will last for about an hour and 12 minutes, reaching its maximum in Reykjavík at around 2.47 am.
With good weather conditions in Reykjavík the entire eclipse should be clearly visible, so let’s hope the cloudy forecast for Monday changes.
