Iceland’s supporters managed to secure 8 % of tickets sold to the Iceland vs England match in Nice on Monday, reports Morgublaðið newspaper. The stadium accommodates up to 36,000 spectators.
Icelandic fans were given the chance to purchase tickets for the match in January. Had Iceland not made it to the round of 16, the tickets purchased would have been annulled and refunded.
