According to Mbl.is the month was unusually bad for domestic air travel. “The storms came one after the other and we experienced a number of days where we had to cancel all flights. That happens very rarely,” Ingi Þór Guðmundsson, director of sales and marketing for Air Iceland, told Mbl.
