Seismic activity keeps being very strong in Bárðarbunga volcano. According to the Icelandic Met Office (IMO) around 120 earthquakes were detected in the huge caldera during the last 24 hours. About ten earthquakes were of magnitude between M4 and M5. The largest quake was M4.5 at 10.38 this morning.
There are now 115 days since the earthquake swarm began in the sub-glacial volcano.
