The second WOW Cyclothon began at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík this morning and finishes at Lake Rauðavatn on Friday. 116 teams take part in this year’s competition, cycling 1.332 kilometres (828 miles) along Route 1, Iceland’s ring road.
